Greetings

Sue and I recently took a road trip to Arizona. We started in Lake Havasu for New Years Eve. The next day we traveled to the Grand Canyon with stops in Yucca, Kingman, Hackberry, and Truxton. The next night we stayed in Sedona after stopping to check our place in Flagstaff. On Tuesday we did the marathon to Phoenix the long way through Flagstaff, Winslow, Holbrook, Snowflake and Payson. Wednesday we drove to Wellton, my hometown with a side trip to the hieroglyphs north west of Gila Bend. Thursday morning I went to a favorite desert spot that is part of the Barry Goldwater Bombing range. We traveled to the Anza-Borrego Desert and Julian and spent the night with Sue's brother Mike and his fiancé Michelle in San Clemente.

We drove home the following day, racking up over 2,000 miles. We wanted to see some "new" country and we certainly did.
